Creams for Menopause

By

Trying to find ways of combating menopause symptoms is an ongoing battle for many women. While some women will change diet, some will try hormone replacement therapy pills, and other women take Black Cohosh along with other natural supplements, many women are finding that creams for menopause symptoms actually works well. With this, you simply rub the cream onto the skin, allowing hormones to enter the bloodstream. With this, the symptoms of hot flashes, mood swings, insomnia, and others are reduced or eliminated.

Natural creams for menopause symptoms have become a very popular solution. When compared with traditional hormone replacement therapy, these creams are not as intense, meaning the woman’s body can handle them far better. The key however is to purchase the right cream, natural cream. For example, you can purchase some creams for menopause that are made from Mexican wild yams and soybeans, which have long been used for the treatment of menopause symptoms.

Experts believe these creams work by allowing the progesterone found in these ingredients to pass through the skin and then circulate throughout the body. Studies have been performed to test these creams for menopause symptoms to ensure they are safe and the results show that they do in fact help provide relief without doing harm. In addition, these creams have shown to help protect women against osteoporosis and osteoarthritis, caused by loss of bone mass that is a common occurrence associated with menopause.

Although not everyone has come to the same agreement, it is also believed that these creams for menopause are beneficial in fighting certain types of cancer such as uterine cancer. Although the evidence is non-inclusive, the signs are looking good. The downfall to the creams for menopause is similar to that of traditional hormone replacement therapy in many instances. For instance, both are believed to increase the risk of other cancers to include breast cancer.

We do know that the creams for menopause are very beneficial in helping with hot flashes and night sweats, which are the two most complained about symptoms. However, any woman choosing to use creams should always pay close attention to the directions, using only the amount intended. If too much cream is used, the body is receiving too much hormone, which can cause other unwanted side effects to include nervousness, anxiety, insomnia, headache, and other. Therefore, while the creams for menopause are helpful, they should still be treated like the drug they are.
