If you are suffering from the main symptoms of the menopause such as hot sweats, irritability and decreased sex drive then you may wish to consider Bio identical hormone replacement therapy. Bio identical hormone replacement therapy will help reduce these symptoms and make you feel more vibrant and back to how you were before you started the change. This type of hormone replacement therapy has been used since 1939 and has a large number of benefits.
These benefits are: a decrease in your body fat which means you find it easier to lose weight and exercise, any anxiety and depression that you may have suffered from due to the menopause will now decrease, your ability to think and concentrate will become clearer instead of feeling foggy, increased libido if your sex drive and arousal levels had decreased due to the menopause, during the menopause your bone levels fall but now your bone density will increase, there is no need for hormone replacement patches or creams, bio identical hormone replacement therapy has no side effects and it lasts up to six months.
So what is bio identical replacement therapy? Bio identical replacement therapy is a dosage of steroid hormones that are identical to the hormones lost through the menopause. Bio identical hormones are alternatively known as natural hormones, these hormones are taken from plants and animals. They are then modified to become identical in structure as your body’s hormones. This therapy is created from natural products such as soy and plant based extracts, and from animals such as pigs and horses. They are not completely natural ingredients because they altered in a laboratory to be as close to women’s hormones. They are identical to the estrogens produced in your body, progesterone, estrone, estradoil, and estrole. Before the menopause your body is used to a level of 2.1 of estradiol to the other estrogens produced and flowing through the blood stream. By restoring these levels back to how they were pre-menopause you will return to normal wellbeing. Bio identical hormones are available in several different forms such as creams, oral tablets, suppositories and injections.
Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy is used to help treat the symptoms of menopause, perimenopause, and post-menopause. For some women treatment with bioidentical hormones, their treatment by beiodentical hormones are created acording to their slaiva samples, identicating how much hormone treatment they require based on what their hormone deficiencies are. This type of treatment is called as "custom-compounded" hormone products. The main benefit of this type of treatment is that each women’s doses are individually made up and these treatments are often not commercially available. There have not been not been many studies of these treatments to confirm how well these treatments work or if they provide the correct levels of hormones in the blood and tissues. They have not yet been approved by the FDA (Food and Drug Administeration) and the North American Menopuase Society does not recommend custom made products for women suffering from the menapuase. There are some FDA approved products that contain similar products such as the Estrace, Climara patch, Vivelle-Dot patch and Priometrium. These products come in a variety of different forms and doses that will suit all women, therefore avoiding the need for unregulated products that may contain unknown contaminates.
Bio identical hormone replacement therapy is available to help women suffering from the menopause or who are post menopausal. The therapy promises to reduce the affects of aging and give women a new lease of life, making them feel much younger and revitalized. This type of therapy is a conventional form of hormone replacement therapy where the hormones that are involved in the treatment may be much different to the hormones produced inside a woman’s body. Bio identical therapy has received much media attention since the end of the Woman’s Health Initiative hormone replacement therapy clinical trials.
